Our History
St Neots Art Group was started in the late 1970's by a small group led by a well known local artist, the late Mrs June Smith. Meetings were held in a converted garden shed in Ackerman Street Eaton Socon until the growing membership meant new venues had to be found.
Today
The Art Group continues to encourage and support local artists with a wide range of abilities. It is a thriving group of people who enjoy painting together in their preferred and differing media along with other group activities including demonstrations, competitions and exhibitions. Click on the "Diary" Tab above to see a full list of our activities.
Examples of our work can be found in the "Gallery"
We meet on the first and third Wednesday evenings throughout the year at Roxton Village Hall, High Street, Roxton MK44 3EB from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
Although our meetings are not structured for any formal drawing or painting tuition, we welcome new members to join us in a friendly relaxed atmosphere in which to paint and socialise with fellow art lovers.
